                                         VISIT TO WSO2



WSO2 is one of great IT company which is situated in
Kollupitiya.There was a nice workshop for us.Our session at 9.00 am.We arrived to the company at about 8.45am.So first of all they appriciate us for our on time attendant.


 





Before the session start,they gave a beautiful note book and a pen.The session was about technicle writing.First they gave some idea about the field of technicle writing.They leant some important grammer points.Not only that,they gave some excersices for us from that grammer points.Then they gave some introduction about tecnicle writing and gave us some basic knowladge about that field.Before the tea break they told us to make small groups.Then they gave a task to write a user manual to an ATM machine as  a group work.After finish that task we were given some nice refreshments.




After the tea break we did a small game.In here,we had to do that game as teams.All teams had to select any object and had to explain it from 4 sentences to other groups.Other groups had to identify the object that they explained.Deshanjalee's team was the winners in that game.So the got a chocolate as the gift for it.After that they told the winning team for the task of making user manual.Fortunatly we were the winners.For that we got beautiful WSO2 t-shirts.


That was my first experince like this.That session was very important to us. Actually we have to thank ms.Sarasi to organize that kind of workshops for us..

BARTER PUZZLE

Barter Puzzle.. In last PPD session we had to do a very interesting game named "Barter Puzzle".First of all,Sarasi madam divided us to three groups and named a group leaders for each groups ... Then madam gave three magazine papers to three leaders.Leaders showed that magazine paper to the members.After that madam said to leaders to cut it to 100 pieces.One of member in each group helped to do that for leaders. Then we had to  rebuild the magazine paper as before within 45 minutes.we started to set the pieces to make the pictures but some pieces were mixed from other teams. I f we wanted to that pieces from any group,we had to give them to another  pieces. While we were doing that task madam called us to and said to do the game"Tap and Walk".After that we come back and started to set pieces again.At the end we set so many pieces except 8-10 pieces.
